Department of Psychology
Our Department of Psychology guarantees almost all psychological courses realized on the Faculty of Education, the Philosophical Faculty and the Faculty of Health Studies in Ústí nad Labem. Our staff lectures for students in both daily and distance form of study. We also teach for those enrolled in the Center of Lifelong Learning. We also supervise diploma thesis of our students. Our academic staff is often part of various doctoral exam committees in both FED UJEP and PedF UK Prague.
The large presence of our lecturing process is proved by a fact, that every Faculty of Education student has to pass various psychologically oriented courses. We started our counselling lab in year 2002, which is open for all students and staff in case they need a psychological assistance.
Besides the teaching and lecturing, we put a large emphasis on research and cooperation with other universities, both domestic and foreign We cooperate with PaedF UK in Prague, Technical University in Liberec, PF ZČ University in Pilsen etc. From those foreign we cooperate with the Academy of education in Vienna, College of social work in Dresden, Patras University in Greece, STU Bratislava or with Norse school of sport studies in Oslo.

- Katholieke Universiiteit Lueven, Belgie – Faculty of Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences
