Outgoing students

GENERAL INFO

Students must be enrolled in the 1st year of bachelor or master degree programme to be able to participate in a study period and traineeship abroad.

One student can participate in study period and traineeship abroad in the maximum length of 12 months in each type of study programme, meaning 12 months in a bachelor degree programme, 12 months in a master degree programme and 12 months in a doctoral degree programme. It is possible to combine the study period and traineeship abroad together in one type of study programme, however it is necessary to observe the minimum length of each mobility type (study period abroad/traineeship abroad). Previous participation in LLP/Erasmus+ is also counted in the total amount of 12 months within one type of study degree programme.

Recent graduates can also attend the traineeship abroad if they were selected during the last year of their study. All documents required must be confirmed or closed before the end of the study and the traineeship abroad must be completed within 1 year of graduation.  However, such participant is obliged (like students) to take out medical expense insurance, liability insurance and accident insurance for the entire duration of the traineeship abroad, which is significantly more expensive for “non-students”. Moreover, such participants must tax the scholarships provided for the traineeship abroad from the Erasmus+ programme.

ERASMUS+ STUDY PERIOD ABROAD

Students can apply for a study period abroad at a foreign university that our faculty has an inter-institutional agreement with (or a new agreement can be negotiated).

The minimum length of study period abroad is 2 months and the maximum length is 12 months, however it must always be for the whole semester.

To be in a selection procedure, the students submit the documents to the Faculty Coordinator Markéta Vlčková. The required documents will be published during the open call.

THE SELECTION PROCEDURE CRITERIA:
• Enrolment to the 1st year of study
• Active participation in ESN Usti is an advantage
• Language skills appropriate to the selected university and destination
• Study results (the average of achieved marks)
• Corresponding field of study, specialization (such as bachelor or master thesis)

The successful completion of the selection procedure at Faculty of Education does not guarantee the students they will participate in the Erasmus+ Programme. It will depend both on the amount of months UJEP has available for this selection procedure and on the admission of the students by the foreign institution.

Further information including the amount of grants is on the website of UJEP International Relations.

ERASMUS+ TRAINEESHIP ABROAD

In case of traineeships abroad there is no need of an interinstitutional agreement. Students choose and contact the foreign institution on their own. The foreign institution must be in a country that participates in Erasmus+ Programme, meaning it must be a member country of EU, EFTA or a candidate for membership of the EU. The foreign institution must operate in a related field. The students can obtain contacts of such foreign institutions from their colleagues in studios or on ErasmusIntern.org or TrainingExperience.org

To be in a selection procedure, the students submit the documents to the Faculty Coordinator Markéta Vlčková. The required documents will be published during the open call.

The minimum length of the traineeship abroad is 2 months and the maximum length is 12 months in each type of study. Recent graduates can also attend the traineeships abroad if they were selected during the last year of their study. All documents required must be confirmed or closed before the end of the study and the traineeship abroad must be completed within 1 year of graduation. In case of interest of a large number of students, preference will be given to those students who carry out their traineeship abroad during their studies.

Students selected for the traineeships abroad submit a study contract confirmed both by the foreign institution and the faculty coordinator to the department of external relations by the set date.
